Our last webinar of 2022 was conducted by our Commercial Manager Jorge León.

Jorge: I think it's an excellent tool for mass customer contact and segmentation of these audiences to whom we want to deliver this message and explain to them in detail, step by step, what it consists of and how we can use it in our businesses.

We can send voice messages to captivate those current customers and make it much easier for them to find our brand at the top of their minds and interest that lead because they like the information we're receiving.

We have a service called iKono Call Blaster and Callzi, which is basically the same thing.

You can check out our platform on the callzi.com website and create a demo account.

These are the points of this webinar:

Voicemail has become popular via cell phones, of course. We often say, "Hey, I left you a message on your voicemail," and a mass voicemail is a phone call that plays an audio file when answered. Many of us have had the opportunity to receive this type of call from a company. For example, calls from bank operators, collection agencies, specific businesses, etc., who send these calls en masse.

Types of Use and Audiences

What type of message do we want to send and why, what is the reason and purpose of the message we want to send.

We're talking about notification messages, birthday messages, promotional messages, and order confirmation messages, all within the types of mass voice messages.

Notification messages become very interesting because users want to receive notifications about events happening in their lives. For example, a user purchased something online and is waiting for the product to arrive. They might receive a voice message informing them that their order is about to arrive. Keep all these types of considerations in mind when preparing your order, regardless of the product you purchased.

Companies can use these types of tools to notify you when something is coming and you need to be prepared.

I have complete tracking of my campaign, including who listened to it, who rejected it, and who hasn't responded. Voicemails aren't appropriate for all audiences; you have to have a good understanding of your audience and know which audiences enjoy these types of messages and which don't.

Available destinations:

It can be done for landlines and mobile numbers. There's no problem sending the campaign to Colombia, Peru, Central America, North America, Europe, or elsewhere. What we need is for the platform to be available for those countries. Callzi is available for several Latin American countries, so we won't have any problems receiving communications.

Shipping consent and blacklists

There must be a company policy, it applies to everything.

Consent to receive communications should be the cornerstone of our communication. It ensures that there is a healthy policy for contacting the customer, that there is honesty on the part of the company in doing this. We know that this is not always the case, but there must be an effort to achieve it. On the other hand, there must be the possibility that the person says, "I don't want to receive any more messages from you," and then blacklists can be created.

There may be blacklists deployed automatically, meaning that the phone number that said it no longer wanted to receive calls may be blacklisted, and even if we mistakenly included it in a campaign, the blacklist blocks it and doesn't allow it to receive that call. Therefore, we are covering that need for unwanted communications, because we all have the right to stop receiving messages we don't want.

Legal restrictions

You must have authorized habeas data information and information about the permitted hours in each country. In Colombia, they restrict us from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and after those hours, it's not possible and would be inconvenient.

Natural voice VS. Automated voice

Voice messages when we answer calls can often be a pre-recorded audio or the voice of a man or woman, and when I receive that message I like it. Those types of audios are the most recommended. Record those types of audios with a pleasant voice, in case we don't have that voice.

At Callzi, we have something called Text Speech. It's a technology that allows you to convert text into a synthetic voice (male, female, or from a certain region). It's a technology that has advanced a lot. It no longer sounds as robotic as it once did, and it didn't generate that feeling of comfort. Today, we have automated, synthetic voices that are more harmonious and have a more harmonious delivery.

Types of voice messages and specific uses

There are standard messages, interactive messages, OTP messages, API messages, SMS-ended messages, and date-specific messages.

Callzi works through a complete model. The voice message is made up of two parts: everything that the platform has been used to achieve mass messaging to be able to send that voice message, and the phone call itself. That call is a complement. If there is no phone call, it is impossible to achieve our goal of sending messages.

Other models may be cheaper than the full model so you have more options. Prices depend on the mobile destination in each country.
