Through Resolution 735 of 2020, the Ministry of Health issued new measures that must be adopted, this time in "call centers, contact centers, technical support centers, data processing centers, shared services centers, including business process outsourcing, and in home services, messaging, and digital platforms.".
These new guidelines are being established taking into account the gradual recovery of the country's economy, which has been visibly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This new protocol aims to manage and control the spread of this virus among the population involved in this economic sector, including e-commerce and courier services.
For business services, process outsourcing, call centers, contact centers, technical support centers, data processing centers, and shared service centers, the following measures must be taken into account:
Biosecurity Protocol

It must also establish work schedules to avoid overcrowding.
- For disinfection, cleaning staff must have glycerinated alcohol, soap, and disposable towels, ensuring the availability of these cleaning supplies.
- The company must ensure the availability of face masks and glycerinated alcohol at least 60%.
- The cleaning period should be:
- Self-care should be encouraged, and workers should monitor their body temperature and respiratory symptoms. Handwashing should be performed before starting work, maintaining a distance of at least 2 meters between workers.
- Avoid in-person meetings. If necessary, social distancing should be maintained, masks should be worn, and attendance records should be kept to facilitate monitoring and tracking of participants' health. Once the activity is over, the venue should be disinfected. It is recommended to use video conferencing applications and communication platforms for business activities.
- It's important to establish work shifts to avoid crowding, especially at the entrance and exit of employees. Keep in mind that only advisors who don't have internet access at home or who don't meet security requirements for handling information will be able to work in person.
Advisors who work with applications that prevent them from working remotely. Database analysts and technical support staff who must be on the platform.
For courier and delivery services linked to e-commerce, they must disinfect their vehicles at the beginning and end of the workday. They must also disinfect the vehicle before and after each delivery. This process must be comprehensive, including the steering wheel, handles, seats, buttons, controls, and other items.
Delivery workers must wash their hands with soap and water upon entering and leaving the business and at least every three hours. They must also wash their hands after completing the delivery service and after removing their gloves. They must wear a face mask while traveling.
You must carry a kit containing soapy water or glycerinated alcohol with a minimum level of 60%, disposable towels, and a waste bag.
